Miko Construction is pleased to showcase our project at Nine Elms Riverside Court 20 Penthouse. Referred to us by a previous client, the property owner needed urgent assistance after being left with incomplete work by another contractor. While we typically avoid taking over unfinished projects, we couldn’t leave the client in such a situation.

We carried out a full refurbishment of the penthouse, including a new kitchen, bathrooms, utility room, complete electrical and plumbing upgrades, air conditioning installation, and a state-of-the-art smart home system with underfloor heating throughout. Despite the challenges, we successfully delivered a fully finished, luxurious home in time for the client and his family to move in before Christmas.

Lombard Wolf is a 28-story landmark on the South Bank of the Thames, featuring 137 luxury apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, including two penthouses—one of which sold for £4.9 million. Built in 2017 with a steel frame construction, the building also includes 604 sq. m of commercial space on the ground floor, 30 basement car parks, and 182 cycle spaces.

Miko Construction contributed to the project by assisting in maintenance, making alterations, and completing a full refurbishment for a private client in one of the prestigious penthouses. This work underscores our commitment to excellence in delivering bespoke solutions for high-end residential spaces.

The Queensbridge Drive project in Ramsgate involved the stunning transformation of the town’s historic former police station into 32 modern flats. Located just a street away from the bustling town center, this unique development blends historical charm with contemporary living.

Miko Construction was appointed by Vidi-Construction to execute the critical final stages of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installation. Our scope included both first and second fix works, ensuring all systems were seamlessly integrated and ready for occupation.

Challenges and Solutions:

Relocation of Team: Due to the project’s location, we relocated a dedicated team to Ramsgate for the duration of the work, ensuring consistent progress and on-site expertise.

Unique Design Features: The inclusion of TV screens in the bathrooms posed regulatory challenges. We collaborated closely with the MEP designers to navigate compliance requirements effectively.

Evolving Designs: With design changes occurring mid-project, our team leveraged its experience to adapt quickly and support the main contractor in meeting deadlines.

Supply Chain Management: To overcome material delays caused by late design changes, we utilized our robust supply chain network to source and deliver the necessary materials swiftly, ensuring the project stayed on track.

This project highlights Miko Construction’s ability to overcome complex challenges, deliver high-quality installations, and support our partners in completing a landmark residential conversion on time.
